Hi there,
After searching the internet, I'm still lost for a solution to my problem. My problem centres around the 'send to onenote 2010' programme. I have the latest version Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 and have done several 'repair' installs but still my problem persists.
If I attempt to do a file printout (e.g. powerpoint or pdf) I get this message:
'The Send to Onenote Print driver requires the Microsoft XPS Essentials pack to be installed on your computer. Do you want to download this component now?'
If I select 'yes' t sends me to this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11816
But none of these download options are relevant to my version of Windows (Windows 64, Windows 7 home premium, Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601, System Model SATELLITE PRO C660, Microsoft Framework 4.0).
I've looked under the 'Printer and Faxes' option under 'devices and printers' and only have the following printers which are visible.
- Canon MG6100 series Printer,
- Canon MG6100 series Printer XPS
- Canon MG6100 series Printer XPS (Copy 1)
- Generic / Text Only.
I did manage to find a work around for Powerpoint (Save .ppt as .XPS, then insert into Onenote) but this is a cumbersome process and doesn't work for some formats like PDF files where I can't save in an XPS format.
in C:/ (Computer > Program Files (x86) > Microsoft Office > Office 14 > Onenote)
I did find the following files, but not sure why it isn't functioning as it should even after repair install.
- SendtoOneNote.gpd
- Sendtoonenote
- Sendtoonenotefilter.dll
- sendtoonenotefilter.gpd
- sendtoonenotenames.gpd
- sendtoonenote-pipelineconfig
- sendtoonenoteUI.dll
It was a clean install and my computer works fine (study purposes only).
There's no viruses / spyware / malware that I could detect. Everything about Onenote 2010 works fine expect for the 'send to one 2010' functions and file printout.
Thanks for your assistance,
J
